June 2010
Hi Everyone!! May was a great month for us. We had some great weather for a lot of the month which made for some very busy weekends. Everyone seemed in the party mood as we went to 8 different BBQ’s in one weekend! I think the lads are fed up with burgers and sausages now!

May started off with a big family event. The Family Day which included a lot of our equipment including our surf machine. Here is a picture of the event.

The Month got more hectic for us with the end of year Ball’s. It was a really great atmosphere and all the students seemed to have a lot of fun with us. We supplied casino tables, candy floss, side stalls and jugglers/stilt walkers. Here are some pictures of the guys in action.

Then it was on to the next Summer Ball. There were over 3000 people at the event with some great live acts. We were there with our Surf simulator, Pillow Bash and Bouncy Boxing.

And finally to end...
We try our hardest to deliver to customers no matter what the obstacle. We have driven through the snow, over the moors, and have had to get some of our heaviest equipment to areas that we didn’t think possible.

So you can imagine the delight on our faces when a regular client of ours thought of an easier way to get our Fun Run into his back garden... BY FORKLIFT!!!
What a Giggle
A big thank you to Jon Bond for saving our lads from lifting the equipment over your hedge (and for the cheese sandwiches).

That's all for this month. We will have more photo sections added again this month so watch this space!!!
May 2010
Hello again everyone! Well the diary is filling up nicely for the summer. We are very busy with weddings this year which is great news.

We had a great time during April. We provided entertainment for an annual Joy Weekend. Visit our photos section to see more of the event.
We have been busy this month with a lot of repeat customers from last year which has been really nice to see. The weather has been great and we have been out every weekend in April at garden parties.

Our Scalextrics has become popular lately. Loads of our clients and the public have all hired it out this month. As you can see we have had to add to our selection of cars to keep up with demand. We now have cars ranging from Mini Coopers to Formula 1 cars. We also have more cars on order, more photos of them to come.
We had a great Casino night in Plymouth at the end of the month. We supplied Roulette, blackjack and a poker table.

Finally, we would like to welcome our new member of staff, Alex Hall. Alex has come into the company to help us run the upcoming events as we are getting busier every month.

That is everything for this month everyone. Next month we have the fun day and graduation events so watch out for new photos sections over the next month.
April 2010
There goes another busy month at What a Giggle!!!! We have still been very busy for the time of year. We have also been taking a lot of bookings for the summer which is great news.

We have been busy with local student unions this month. Here are pictures of the students having fun on our inflatable twister and scalextrics.
What a Giggle sponsored the match ball at the Plymouth Argyle vs. Bristol City game this season. It was a chance to watch a good game of football and treat clients and friends to an evening of hospitality at Home Park. Our Operations Manager Chris Pyne was presented with a signed ball and Graham Kingdom and Tim Barnett handed over the Match Ball to the officials on the pitch.
What a Giggle are also sponsors for the Mayflower under 15’s football team. The lads have done really well this season; they have reached the cup final and are in contention for promotion. Alex went to watch a recent game and got a team photo with the lads sporting the What a Giggle Logo on the shirts. Good luck for the rest of the season guys.
That’s everything for March. April is a busy month for us with some big events with some of our regular clients so watch out for next months blog. Have a great April everyone, back soon!
March 2010
We’ve had a great month, it started by me going to watch the Exeter Chiefs so I could meet Neil Clarke on his 100th games for the club, our sponsored player or the 2009-10 season.
We are very proud to be working with Cancer Research with myself (Alex) on the committee as the entertainment chair, for the Plymouth Relay 2010. Check it out and sign up www.cancerresearchuk.org/relay/venues/plymouth/ What a Giggle was delighted to be part of the 2010 launch in Plymouth City Centre last week, with our equipment, PA system and marquee!
When we were booked for the Brixham Marina party we never in a million years expected it to be a fancy dress party, Rita (our Rodeo Bull) didn’t know which way to turn, even the boxing ring was blushing! But, they did look amazing, so well done for making the effort and for making our lad smile! ;-)
Plymouth has a brand new sound to the city… 106.7 FM Radio Plymouth. When we were invited to the launch party, keeping in mind that we go to a lot, we didn’t quite know what to expect, but it was magic, the presenters cutting some shapes on the dance floor! Simon, really was there any need for that, wow! But, I did meet Biker Dave, ha ha!
Thanks again to all our clients for a fantastic start to the year, we’re so pleased with how things are planning out!

Peace

Wow how good has the weather been over the past couple of weekends, our surf simulators have been everywhere! I would like to thanks everyone at 42 commandos for their support at our Help for Heroes night, the funniest thing was the bouncy boxing and pillow bash competition, but the sumo’s also went down a storm!

May 2009
What a hectic start to the summer! We’ve been all over the UK delivering rodeo bull to surf machines to bouncy boxing ring to sumo suits! I managed to get myself stranded in North Wales on the way home from an event which lead to me sleeping in a bubble car (Nissan Mira)! The high light of the month has to be the overwhelming success of the opening of Heaven restraint and gallery in Plymouth, where we’re so pleased to be the sole entertainment company working with them!

I would also like to thank everyone for their support of my half marathon run, it was very hot on the Hoe but I had an excellent and our surf simulator whet down a storm on the finish line!

Always look forward!
Alex

And remember in the words of Alfred Souza “Dance as though no one is watching you; love as though you have never been hurt before, sing as though no one can hear you, live as though heaven is on earth”.
